KIMI KATKAR
Kimi Katkar is a model and actress of Bollywood from the 1980s to the early 1990s. She is best known for her role in Tarzan (the English title of the movie being, Adventures of Tarzan), where she played the lead opposite Hemant Birje and dared to do some hot steamy bold scenes in that time. She is also known as the Jumma girl for the song Jumma Chumma de de with Amitabh Bachchan in the movie HUM.
She was also associated with the book Shantaram and is likely to appear playing herself as the colorful Bollywood actress in the Johnny Depp and Amitabh Bachchan film based on the book, to be directed by Mira Nair.
She married India's famous photographer Shantanu Sheorey in the early 1990's after which she left the industry and mysteriously vanished.
She stayed in Melbourne, Australia as her son was not well and is been treated by one of her relative who was settled in Melbourne at that time. It took her five years to come back India.
Now she have been living a very normal life in suburb Pune, Maharastra.
She loves cooking and charity. She is seen in Food Festivals and also in some charity shows recently. She is a busy homemaker and she keeps her indulged with the household works. It seems that her son and husband is her life now. And she don't wanna comeback to the film industry ever again.
